Course Objectives To enable MA students learn and apply scientific research methods and skills in accordance with research ethics and to give the chance of designing a research assignment to set the background for the thesis.
Course Content The process of conducting research and research ethics, data types, data collection, analysis, interpretation, reporting, and evaluation, types of research design.
Learning Outcomes (LO) At the end of the course students will: 1. Develop an understanding of the steps of educational research and research ethics; 2. Develop an understanding of data including its collection, analysis, interpretation, reporting, and evaluation; 3. Develop an understanding of the types of research design.
