Course Objectives The aim of this course is to increase the awareness of the students about the career psychological counseling services provided to the disadvantaged individuals in the society and to help them gain theoretical knowledge about working with these individuals.
Course Content Gaining knowledge, skills and attitudes about preparing and implementing individual and group career intervention programs for disadvantaged groups, minorities and groups with different characteristics.
Learning Outcomes (LO) The students who attends and are successful at the end of semester will acquire the followings: 1. Gains awareness towards individuals who are disadvantaged in society. 2. Gains awareness of the career problems of disadvantaged individuals. 3. Knows what needs to be considered while preparing career intervention programs for disadvantaged individuals. 4. Explains what needs to be considered while implementing career intervention programs for disadvantaged individuals.
