Course Objectives The aim of this course is to develop skills to plan school guidance program and to prepare time plan by knowing the basic principles and concepts of guidance program development.
Course Content Basic concepts of education programs, Basic approaches and models in curriculum development in guidance, Structure of the comprehensive school counseling program (content, structural elements, program elements, processes, time planning, resources), Preparation, implementation and evaluation stages in school counseling program Presentation of prepared school counseling programs.
Learning Outcomes (LO) 1 He/she explains the principal concepts of education program 2 He/she explains the approaches, models on counseling program development and the properties of an effective program. 3 He/she explains the elements of a comprehensive counseling program. 4 He/she compares the comprehensive counseling program and other models. 5 He/she knows the steps for preparing the school counseling program 6 He/she discusses the counseling programs in schools in terms of models of the program 7 He/she prepares the time planning of a school comprehensive counseling program.
