Course Objectives Investment Projects and Analysis is a course that focuses on the planning, evaluation and selection of investment projects. Within the scope of the course, students learn how to analyse investment projects from an economic and financial perspective and how to manage risks and uncertainties. In addition, basic project evaluation techniques such as net present value, internal rate of return and strategic thinking skills in investment decisions are developed. The course provides students with the analytical and decision-making skills necessary for evaluating future investment projects.
Course Content The aim of this course is to provide students with basic knowledge and skills in the evaluation of investment projects and the application of economic and financial analysis methods.
Learning Outcomes (LO) The students who attended the course and were successful at the end of semester will acquire the followings; 1- Learns the basic concepts of investment project valuation. 2- Learns the stages of investment project preparation. 3- Learns to use investment project evaluation methods. 4- Learns to compare investment project evaluation methods.
