Course Objectives In this course, it is aimed to provide knowledge and skills about the conceptual framework of educational sciences and to provide a background for the educational subjects to be learned later.
Course Content In this course, the basic concepts of education and training; aims and functions of education; the relationship between education and other fields and sciences; legal, social, cultural, historical, political, economic, philosophical and psychological bases of education; teaching profession and current developments in teacher training; new tendencies in the twenty-first century are presented.
Learning Outcomes (LO) 1. To explain the basic concepts of education. 2. To explain the psychological foundations of slope. 3. To explain the economic and legal foundations of education. 4. To interpret the development of teacher training in Turkey. 5. To evaluate new trends in education.
