Course Objectives |
Performance Management course aims to teach students the processes of assessing, developing and managing individual and organisational performance. Students will understand how to contribute to the achievement of organisations' goals through effective performance management systems and methods. |
Course Content |
The course includes the purpose and scope of performance appraisal, performance appraisal methods and main problems encountered, current approaches in performance appraisal, performance management system and its place and importance in human resources management, usage areas, factors affecting performance management system, strategic dimension of performance management, application examples. |

By the end of the course students will be able to:
1. Define the concepts of performance management.
2. Apply performance evaluation methods.
3. Develop goal setting and feedback processes.
4. Analyse challenges in performance management and develop solutions. |
