Course Objectives The aim of this course is; examining formal program, extracurricular activities and implicit program concepts, gaining knowledge about implicit curriculum approaches, explaining the effects of implicit curriculum on cognitive and emotional learning, ceremonies, social cultural activities, etc. To evaluate the extracurricular activities of the school in the context of the implicit curriculum.
Course Content This course is taught to the students of the education faculty as a 2 hour theoretical course.
Learning Outcomes (LO) Explain the concepts of formal program, functional program, implicit program, overlooked program and extracurricular program. Explain the types of non-curricular activities in education. Establishes the relationships between extracurricular activities and programs. Explains and compares implicit program approaches. Explain the effects of the implicit program in the process of gaining goals according to learning areas. Explain the place of values ​​education in extracurricular activities. Explain the importance of regulation in the execution of extra-curricular activities in education.
