General Information
Our vocational school started its education life at 31 October 2012 within the Ufuk University due to the related articles of 2547 Code of Higher Education and its amendment and 3843 Code of Dual Education in Higher Education.

Qualification Awarded
The students who successfully complete the program are awarded the associate degree of Vocational School of Justice and gain the capacity to raise their degree to undergraduate law degree.

Our vocational school intakes students according to TYT and has a 2 year education period in associate degree.

Arrangements for the Recognition of Prior Learning
Students studying at the Ufuk University may be exempted from some courses under certain regulations. Students may be exempted from a course if the content of the course taken at another institution is relevant to the course given at Ufuk University and exemption is approved by directorate.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
The students who have a Cumulative Grade Points Average of 2.00 over 4.00 is considered successful. The students who have a 60 (CC) is considered successful in a course. The students who is considered successful in all mandatory and elective courses, and who provides 120 ECTS credits is qualified for graduation.

Profile of the Programme
The aim of our vocational school’s establishment is providing qualified judicial personnel needed in the legal and judicial services in our country by a curriculum covering the needs in legal services, educating the personnel who will serve in courts, execution offices, and penal institutions by contemporary methods, and providing graduates armed with basic legal knowledge, high awareness. In this context, our priorities are increasing the quality of education day by day by using the experience gained at Ufuk University, supporting the better practices and covering the needs of legal professions, and graduating selective professionals in judicial services.

Key Learning Outcomes
1. Gaining the ability to seek, measure and assess the information, gaining the ability to use obtained knowledge during his professional life, gaining the ability and desire to keep obtained outcomes intact by taking education as an ongoing activity throughout life.
2. Assessing universally the outcomes by scientific and analytical thinking, examining, synthesizing. Gaining knowledge to make comparisons regarding information.
3. Gaining ability, awareness and attention to use Turkish language efficiently, both written and orally, according to the grammar rules.
4. In order to keep pace with the evolving world, becoming intermediate in both written and spoken of a foreign language and becoming open to development in this regard.
5. Understanding the legal language and judicial correspondence procedures, generating a personal style regarding professional language to be distinguished.
6. Gaining professional and ethical responsibility, executing the professional rules in a manner of highly respected customs in the society, supporting social projects by taking an active place in non-governmental organizations, joining team-works, gaining the ability to lead.
7. Following the technological improvements, gaining academic and practical knowledge on computer, and using the keyboard effectively.
8. Defining private law relations and disputes, interpreting and executing the basic principles regarding the field.
9. Defining, interpreting and executing the government system, organs and their functions which constitutes the government, basic constitutional principles, relations and disputes between individuals and government.
10. Gaining knowledge and practice on filing a suit, and executing proceedings.
11. Gaining basic knowledge on economics and fiscal law, basics of accounting, and making accounts of financial tables.
12. Understanding the relation between law and close disciplines to the law, following domestic and global contemporary issues by their legal, political, economical and social aspects, becoming a well-equipped, well-mannered, highly aware citizen and man of the world.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Our graduates can be employed as a director in court offices, execution offices, penal institutions by qualifying in the examination of Ministry of Justice, and can be employed in notaries and legal offices. In recent years, the demand by private companies and law offices of banks for vocational school of justice graduates is particularly increasing.

Access to Further Studies
After certain conditions completed defined in related regulations, our graduates may apply to undergraduate degrees (4 years), particularly faculty of law.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
The program contains certain assessment methods such as quizzes, midterm exams, homework, practices, and final exams. The criteria (quiz, mid-term, assignment, final exam, etc.) and the ratio taken into consideration for success assessment in the courses are stated in the syllabi distributed to the students at the beginning of each semester and/or published on the web site. Final examinations are made in dates, places and times determined and announced by the University. The students’ final semester grade is given by their instructors based on mid-term and final examination results, semester studies, and compliance with attendance regulations. In order to graduate from the program, the students are required to have a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.00. A course grade is constituted by evaluating the above stated elements and given by using letters. Letter grades and their associated coefficients are as follows.

Graduation Requirements
