Course Objectives This course aims to provide academic and practical understanding on litigation types, procedure types, and operation of courts having general and private jurisdiction and arbitration tribunals which is an exception to the litigation.
Course Content All judicial actions of Civil courts regarding private law is governed by civil procedure law.
Learning Outcomes (LO) 1. Gaining basic knowledge on the place of civil procedure law, and application of civil procedure law rules by time and place. 2. Gaining ability to examine and assess the resources of civil procedure law and to interpret rules and to apply those into daily cases. 3. Understanding the place of court organization by means of declaration of sovereignty of the state and a service to adjust the justice, understanding the reflections basic principles such as democracy, secularism, social state and power of law. 4. Understanding the common concepts of civil procedure law such as parties, civil procedure law capacity, attorneyship, joinder of parties. Gaining the ability to argue this terms with specialists and to transfer relevant outcomes to others in general level. 5. Gaining ability to understand and interpret governing principles of civil procedure law. 6. Gaining basic knowledge on freedom of seeking legal remedies, legal protection demand, suit, conditions of a suit, and types of suit. 7. Understanding the elements of statement of claim, gaining experience over statement of claim examples. 8. Gaining ability to analyze substantial and procedural outcomes of filing a suit. 9. Gaining ability to execute IT and relate communication technologies to the subject. 10. Gaining the ability to maintain the basic outcomes and competences acquired during the education in graduate degree, gaining responsibility as a professional who will be useful to the justice services, understanding the perpetuity of education.
