Course Objectives The aim of this lecture is providing the ability to diagnose, examine, preserve, and reporting for evaluating the evidence in the means of electronic data and findings.
Course Content This course aims to give knowledge on examination and reporting techniques dedicated to acquire legal evidence executed in electronic media made via special hardware and software.
Learning Outcomes (LO) 1. Gaining basic, academic and practical knowledge on electronic devices, concepts and computer forensic hardware and software. 2. Gaining the ability to resolve problems and using models on electronic proof, collection and custody of electronic proof, reconnaissance and crime scene investigation. 3. Examining and reporting computer and databases, using planning principles in that respect. 4. Gaining the ability to examine and report cell phones, mobile applications, ip-mac information and known software components. 5. Using UYAP efficiently as an individual and as a team member. 6. Using IT and communication technologies efficiently in computer forensic. 7. Gaining responsibility to be a professional who will contribute good to the judicial system.
