| Course Objectives |
To gain knowledge on EU and EU-Turkey relations, EU health systems and member country health systems, and the ability to evaluate Turkey-European Union relations in terms of health and health policies. |
| Course Content |
The European Union, its institutional structure, the reasons for the establishment of the EU, EU legislation, the enlargement of the EU, the EU internal market and health, EU health systems are discussed. |
| Learning Outcomes (LO) |
Students who complete this course and are successful will gain the following about the European Union health system; 1- To be able to determine the vision and mission for EU healthcare businesses, 2- To have a grasp of the structure of the EU healthcare system, 3- To be able to comprehend the health effects of harmonization with the EU. |
