Course Objectives To raise awareness about the concept of child and child law and to ensure the development of child-friendly justice principles in the Turkish World System.
Course Content Within the scope of the course, information is given about the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, which is the main source of the juvenile justice system, and the implementation of the Child Protection Law, which is the reflection of this convention in domestic law. The development of the child protection system implemented in our country is examined.
Learning Outcomes (LO) 1- To be able to use information by gaining awareness about children's right practices 2- Internalizing and adopting the realization of children's rights 3- To be able to analyze information about juvenile proceedings by establishing a cause-effect relationship. 4- To be able to evaluate the problems related to the juvenile justice system in the international sense 5- Gaining the ability to take a professional role in the juvenile justice system
