| Course Objectives |
Transferring information about the foundation stage of the Republic of Turkey, the Turkish Understanding the fundamental nature of the revolution and adopting, young people have the consciousness of history is aimed. |
| Course Content |
This coursa examines the establishment process of Turkish Republic, principles, of Atatürk and Turkish revolution and political affairs after Atatürk's period.

| Learning Outcomes (LO) |
LO1 - To comprehend that Turkish Modernization embodies a continuity and a break.
LO2 - To learn that Balkan War is an important breaking point of Turkish Nationalism together with the results of the war.
LO3 - To understand the causes and consequences of the First World War, to learn the conditions of the Turkish War of Independence.
LO4 - National Struggle steps and learn the results, the leader of the National Movement and the Republic of Turkey's founder Ataturk recognize and understand the value.
LO5 - To evaluate the importance of the Lausanne Peace Treaty, the steps taken on the way to the Republic and the results of these.
