Course Objectives Analyzing the concept and elements of real right, its types, real right principles; acquisiton of immovables, its restriction; subject of movable good, its acquisition; the concept of possession, acquisition of possession, its loss and protection; the importance of the land registry system for immovable goods; types of ownership, joint and several ownership; personal servitudes, servitudes on goods; establishment of encumbrance real right, its scope and transfer and the concepts of pledge of movables-immovables.
Course Content It is the field of law regulating people’s relationship regarding their direct sovereignty on goods. In addition to real rights that people have on goods, possession and land registry are also involved.
Learning Outcomes (LO) 1. Interpreting of the basic concepts of property law and its application 2. Analyzing the distinction of possession and ownershio and its results 3. Knowledge of the purchase-sale procedure and transaction regarding immovables 4. Awareness of land registry transactions 5. Understanding the practically important application of movable and especially immovable pledge
