Course Objectives Be able to internalize the European human rights system and its functioning in comparison with the Turkish system, and apply it by making sense of the national character of human rights
Course Content Examination and interpretation of the European Human Rights Mechanism including Turkey
Learning Outcomes (LO) 1. Internalize the relationship of the European human rights mechanism with the Turkish constitutional system 2. Evaluate the fundamentals of human rights law according to the rule of law and the pluralistic democracy 3. Be able to see the existence of supranational law in the interpretation of human rights 4. Reaching the capacity to sue before the European Court of Human Rights 5. Be able to evaluate the principles and the judgements of the European Court of the Human Rights
