Course Objectives |
•To understand and express the basic concepts of interest technology management.
• Evaluate and implement IT to solve common business problems.
• Offers and defends effective solutions to business problems and designs a database application to solve business problems.
• Discuss ethical aspects and governance issues of using information technology in the organization. |
Course Content |
This course makes a detailed research on information systems. It also provides an introduction to information systems and dominant supportive technologies. Reprography (printing, copying, micrographic processes), information processing and communication issues. Library / information systems management, technical services, reference services, document distribution systems applications. It offers conceptual, theoretical, historical, social, economic and moral issues related to the development, deployment and management of dominant information systems technologies. |
