Course Objectives Provides knowledge on the structure of health systems through the examination of underlying technologies. The course intends to improve the job opportunities for our graduates by examining the underlying infra structure of such systems along with the integration of hospitals, Ministery of Health and Social Security Administration by studying the Information System of our Hospital.
Course Content Examining the architectural and network structures of hospital information systems, Process and data qualities of health systems and coding systems, Examining sample information systems as outpatient and inpatient sub-systems, Introductory information about data mining and artificial intelligence.
Learning Outcomes (LO) 1. To become familiar with functional aspects of hospital Information Systems. 2. Knowledge of medical and managerial processes. 3. Knowledge of integration between hospitals and related state systems. 4. Knowledge the applications of advanced technology applications in health organizations. 5.
