Course Objectives This course aims to give business administration students the methods of analyses of functions and basic concepts about applications.
Course Content This course contains following subjects: 1.Basic Algebra Review 2.Linear Equations and Inequalities, Graphs and lines, 3.Elementary Functions: Graphs and Transformations 4.Quadratic Functions ,Polynomial and Rational Functions, 5.Exponential Functions,Logarithmic Functions 6. Introduction to Limits, Infinite Limits and Limits at Infinity, 7.Continuity, 8.The Derivative ,Basic Differentiation Properties, 9 Differentials 10. Marginal Analysis in Business and Economics, The Constant e and Continuous Compound Interest 11. Derivatives of Exponential and Logarithmic Functions, Derivatives of Products and Quotients 12. The Chain Rule, 13. Implicit Differentiation, 14. Related Rates, Elasticity of Demand .
Learning Outcomes (LO) The students who attended the course and were successful at the end of semester will acquire the followings; 1- Students will be able to anhance in mathematical thinking and have self-confidence by solving basic and complex problems 2-Student will be able to have analytical thinking. 3.Students get substantial experience in modeling and solving real-life problems
