Course Objectives At the end of this course, students are expected to be able to: 1. Have knowledge of the basic concepts of behavioral sciences 2. Have knowledge of the personality and attitudes of individuals 3. Have knowledge of the concepts of leadership, motivation and conflict in organizations
Course Content The course examines the fundamental concepts of disciplines such as psychology, sociology, and anthropology to understand the behaviors of individuals and groups. Students learn about the social, cultural, and biological factors that influence human behavior while also focusing on topics such as group dynamics, communication, and motivation. After the lecture, in order to enhance the understanding of the topics, in-class exercises related to the subject will be conducted in groups.
Learning Outcomes (LO) By the end of the course, students will be able to define the fundamental theories and concepts that influence human behavior. They will also be able to analyze the effects of social and cultural factors on individual and group dynamics and relate this knowledge to practical scenarios. Additionally, students will gain the ability to evaluate different behavioral situations by understanding communication and motivation processes.
