To develop an understanding of how society, social structures and social processes fundamentally shape human behavior and how they influence everyday interactions in offices or other settings. |

To identify and define fundamental sociological concepts such as globalization, class, gender, race, ethnicity, culture, media, bureaucracy, and networks and to discover how the society in which individuals live in shapes social interaction. |
