Course Objectives |
The aim of the course “Introduction to Philosophy” is to make students acquainted with the philosophical thought and to make them aware of any steps in the philosophical adventure historically. |
Course Content |
The course “Introduction to Philosophy” includes examining philosophy from the Ancient Greece until today in meaningful categories. |
Learning Outcomes (LO) |
The students who attended and were successful at the end of semester will acquire the followings:
1. learns about the history of philosophy.
2. recognizes ancient philosophy and Plato, his thought on society, human and human education
3. recognizes the philosophy in the Medieval Ages.
4. recognizes the re-birth of Ancient philosophy and the Philosophy of Enlightenment.
5. gets aware of the postmodern philosophy and its reflections on society, through the example of criticism of Plato. |
