Course Objectives This course is developed to provide students to use a suitable software development tool and visual programming language on the integrated development environment, also make them develop Windows form applications for the solution of the problems they determine with the instructor.
Course Content This course includes; introduction to programming and .NET platform, Visual Studio installation and environment, project preparation steps, data types in Visual C # programming language, decision structures and loops, arrays, methods that return and do not return values.
Learning Outcomes (LO) The students who complete this course successfuly acquire the skills as follows; 1- They will recognize and use menus, component palette and toolbars in visual programming language environment, 2- They will be able to use fixed, variable, array and operators in a visual programming language, 3- They will recognize the tools in a visual programming language; knowing properties, methods and events, 4- They will be able to create a database connection using the necessary tools in a visual programming language.
