Course Objectives |
In the process of life until the end of the age of the newborn period to recognize and evaluate the normal growth and development process. |
Course Content |
What is growth and development? Developmental stages according to psychoanalytic, psychosocial, cognitive and moral development theorists, growth and development in infancy, play age, preschool period, school period and adolescence, characteristics of growth and development in adulthood and old age. |
Learning Outcomes (LO) |
The students who attended the course and were successful at the end of a semester will acquire the following:
LO-1. Evaluate human biological, psychological, social, and cultural aspects.
LO-2. Classifies human characteristics according to developmental theories.
LO-3. Analyzes the differences between people in different age periods.
LO-4. Categorizes the features of different age groups.
