Course Objectives The aim of this course is to explain the methods of acquiring knowledge and gaining skills for student nurses to accurately determine the needs of the patient/healthy individual and to meet them with planned care practices.
Course Content The contents of this course include the definition, purpose and history of the nursing process; concepts related to nursing; the stages of nursing process: data collection, nursing diagnosis determination, planning, implementation, evaluation, record creation and reporting issues and sample care plan discussions.
Learning Outcomes (LO) The students who attended the course and were successful at the end of semester will acquire the followings: LO1.He/She can evaluate the importance of the nursing process in terms of nursing practices. LO2. Theoretical knowledge can be used in practice. LO3. Priorities in nursing care to be given to the individual can be planned. LO4. The stages of the nursing process can be applied in planned and purposeful care.
