Course Objectives To collect the data that will reveal the health needs of the patient/individual, to diagnose the care needs of the patient/individual, to determine the goals on patient care, to complete the required activities for the implementation of the plan, to evaluate the results of care.
Course Content This course teaches nursing activities that provide nursing care by a systematic method and formed by successive stages to solve the health problem of the individual.
Learning Outcomes (LO) The students who attended the course and were successful at the end of semester will acquire the followings: LO -1. Defines the individual, environment, health, illness, and nursing. LO -2. Explains the importance of the nursing process. LO -3. Creates a written nursing care plan via using concept mapping technique. LO -4. Discusses the importance of evidence in the issue of planning nursing care.
