The aim of the course called Gender Equality is to examine the basic issues and current problems related to sex and gender from a theoretical perspective and to understand the process of gender equality in society. |
| Course Content |
The course titled Gender Equality includes examining gender and related concepts, theories and models, gender roles, stereotypes, research on these issues, the relationship between gender and education, and developments in gender equality. |
| Learning Outcomes (LO) |
Those who take this course and successfully complete it are expected to acquire the following achievements: 1. Define the concepts of gender and gender equality. 2. Learns and can discuss gender roles and stereotypes. 3. Understands the cultural and historical background of gender-based inequality. 4. Can evaluate the understanding of gender in the light of contemporary developments. |
