Course Objectives To enable teacher candidates to understand approaches and models regarding adult education and related concepts; It aims to introduce lifelong learning practices in the Turkish education system.
Course Content Definition and scope of adult education; concepts related to adult education (continuing education, public education, non-formal education, vocational education, etc.); Historical development of adult education in Turkey; approaches and models regarding adult education; adults and learning; purpose, scope and historical development of lifelong learning; Lifelong learning practices in the Turkish education system.
