Course Objectives This course aims to provide the students with the knowledge and skills to determine the cardiopulmonary rehabilitation needs of an individual with heart disease and / or lung disease, and to organize and implement a rehabilitation program.
Course Content Treatment methods and rehabilitation methods in patients undergoing cardiopulmonary rehabilitation.
Learning Outcomes (LO) LO1- To comprehend the basic principles of cardiac rehabilitation, to have knowledge and skills about special measurement methods used in cardiac rehabilitation, to have knowledge and skills in the implementation of post-cardiac rehabilitation program. LO2- To have knowledge and skills to apply rehabilitation program after myocardial infarction. LO3- To understand the special measurement methods used in respiratory physiotherapy, to have the knowledge and skills to apply bronchial drainage techniques. LO4- To have the knowledge and skills to apply controlled breathing techniques. LO5- To have the knowledge and skills to apply the commonly used exercise techniques in pulmonary rehabilitation.
