Course Objectives This course aims to provide the students with the knowledge and skills to determine the orthopedic rehabilitation needs of an individual with orthopedic problems and to apply the rehabilitation program.
Course Content Treatment methods and rehabilitation methods in orthopedic rehabilitation.
Learning Outcomes (LO) LO1- To have knowledge about the current diseases of patients who need orthopedic rehabilitation and to have the knowledge and skills to apply the physiotherapy program to be applied in these diseases. LO2- To have knowledge about the current problems of arthroplasty patients and to have the knowledge and skills to apply the physiotherapy program to these patients. LO3- To have knowledge about fracture and to have knowledge and skills to apply physiotherapy program to be applied to fracture patient. LO4- To have knowledge about sports-specific diseases and to have the knowledge and skills to apply the physiotherapy program applied to these diseases. LO5- To have knowledge about amputation and to have the knowledge and skills to apply the physiotherapy program that should be applied before and after the operation in patients where this application is considered necessary.
