Course Objectives This course aims to provide the student with the knowledge and skills about movement analysis of the joints that make up our body, the definition of exercise, the exercise gained in our body, posture analysis and posture disorders, joint limitations, definition and effects of immobilization.
Course Content The structure of the joints in the body, the position at the moment of movement and interactions with other joints and body parts, exercise, movement of body parts during walking
Learning Outcomes (LO) LO1- To have knowledge about the anatomy and functioning of the musculoskeletal system and to have the ability to use them. LO2- To have the necessary knowledge and skills about how the joints move in the body, how they move, their structures and how to approach the problems that occur. LO3- To have the knowledge, skills and the necessary competence to practice the effects of exercise on the body and exercise therapy. LO4- To have knowledge about musculoskeletal disorders and to have knowledge and skills to apply physiotherapy techniques in these disorders. LO5- To have the knowledge and skills to apply measurement and evaluation techniques used in evaluation of musculoskeletal disorders.
