Course Objectives This course gives general information about the working principals of musculoskeletal system. It also gives information on the techniques on physical measurement and evaluation of musculoskeletal system.
Course Content The aim of this course is provide necessary information and knowledge on the musculoskeletal system, and the measurement and evaluation techniques of this system
Learning Outcomes (LO) Upon successful completion of this course the students; 1. Are informed on musculoskeletal system, structure and the general characteristics of a joint. 2. Understand the methods of measuring the range of motion of the joints. 3. Are capable of measuring muscle strength on upper and lower ekstrimities and evaluating the muscles of the body as a whole. 4. Can be able to perform posture and gait analysis and use it in daily practice. 5. Can determine of muscle length measurement and identificate the appropriate treatment protocol. Also comprehend anthropometric measurements.
