Course Objectives This course aims to provide the students with the necessary knowledge and skills about the definition, indications and contraindications of the use of devices and heating agents used in the physical therapy unit, how to apply them on patients; The aim of this course is to teach how rehabilitation is done in musculoskeletal diseases and clinical practice of these.
Course Content Physical therapy and rehabilitation methods and rehabilitation applications in specific musculoskeletal diseases.
Learning Outcomes (LO) LO1- Having knowledge and skills about the superficial and deep heating agents and their clinical applications. LO2- To have knowledge and skills about how to apply superficial and deep heating agents, which patients will be applied, which patients will not be done and clinical applications. LO3- Having knowledge and skills about what electrotherapy is and what it covers. LO4- To have knowledge and skills about how electrotherapy agents will be applied, which patients will be applied, which patients will not be performed and their clinical applications. LO5- To have knowledge and skills in the application of rehabilitation in musculoskeletal diseases.
