Course Objectives
Course Content This course is a comprehensive introduction to system design skills in the field of information management that students as future users and / or systems analysts should address in a computer-integrated business environment. This course provides students with a basic knowledge of design concepts, methodologies, techniques and tools, as well as a strong foundation in system analysis as well as identifying business problems that can be solved with technology-based solutions, identifying requirements for information systems solutions, and developing designs that form the basis for the implementation of systems.
Learning Outcomes (LO) Upon completion of this course, the student will gain experience and knowledge by participating in the following principles: LO.1: To understand the principles and tools of systems analysis and design; LO.2: Solving a wide variety of complex problems related to the analysis, design and development of information systems; LO.3: To analyze and design systems of different sizes; LO.4: Making business modeling and requirements analysis; LO.5: Planning, managing and presenting a project; LO.6: Preparing and submitting coherent and structured oral and written technical reports/documentation regarding the whole system development process.
