Course Objectives Aims to develop the skills of health professionals on the basic principles and applications of research techniques and methods in health.
Course Content Course includes: Research designs in health related research, Methods of data collection, Methods of sample selection, Design and application of a questionnaire study, Summary statistics, tables and graphics, Analysis of relations between research variables, Reporting research findings.
Learning Outcomes (LO) LO 1- The student can explain the research designs in health related research. LO 2- The student knows and applies the methods of data collection LO 3- The student knows and applies the methods of sample selection LO 4- The student can design and apply a questionnaire study LO 5- The student can summarize the research findings with statistical concepts. LO 6- The student can summarize the research findings with tables and graphics, LO 7- The student can determine the relations between research variables with statistical methods LO 8- The student can report the research findings with the scientific language.
