Course Objectives This course aims at providing students the ability to explain and apply the concepts of Permutation, Combination, Probability definitions, conditional probabiltiy, The Bayes Theorem, Probability Distributions, Moments, Moment Generating Functions, Independence, The Chebyshev Inequality and The Central Limit Theorem.
Course Content Permutation, Combination, Probability space, random variable and distribution functions, transformation of random variables and distribution characteristics, generating functions, some probability distributions.
