Course Objectives Define the basic concepts related to sampling methods and sampling. Situations can be encountered in practice can be used for determining the most appropriate sampling method, estimated the required sample size calculation and analysis of processes.
Course Content Basic concepts related to sampling and sampling describes situations where it is needed. Non-probability and probability sampling are presented. The methods of probability sampling methods that an emphasis on simple random sampling and stratified random sampling method. The sampling distribution of estimators will be obtained by sampling methods, the expected value, variance and the calculation of the required sample size is explained in detail with examples.
Learning Outcomes (LO) Students karşılaştırabileceklerdir simple random and stratified random sampling methods in detail. In practice, deciding what is appropriate to use the sampling method, the required point estimation, interval estimation and operations will be able to determine the sample size.
