Course Objectives |
The aim of this course is to explain the basic anatomical brain regions that play a role in behavioral events, the physiological basis of behavioral functions, basic neurotransmitters, consciousness, orientation, memory, attention, perception, language, and basic cognitive abilities such as thinking. |
Course Content |
The content of this course consists of the neuroanatomical and neurophysiological structure of the brain, consciousness, attention, perception, emotion, learning, social behavior, behavioral plasticity. |
Learning Outcomes (LO) |
1- Explain the anatomical structure of the brain.
2- Explain the neurophysiological structure of the brain.
3- Can explain abilities such as emotion, behavior and perception with brain activities.
4- It can define the deterioration of brain functions in mental disorders in which emotional disturbances are observed.
5- It can define the deterioration of brain functions in mental disorders in which cognitive functions are impaired.
6- It can define the deterioration of brain functions in mental disorders where behavioral disorders are seen.
7- Evaluate the effects of psychobiological concepts in psychiatric nursing practice. |
