Faculty of Arts and Sciences has undertaken an important mission in regard to including the dimension of fundamental sciences. Faculty of Arts and Sciences has planned to search and to do educational study about these important fields of our age, provide support to the technology production of the other departments and more importantly to train students in these fields and give them the chance of being more active within the body of our Faculty.

The mission of the university is to create an education environment for students in which students will be trained in order to gain awareness about their country and to do their best for serving to their country, and to adapt themselves to democratic edifice, scientific approach and ethnic rules. The Faculty is aimed at creating an institutionalized structure in which students will depend on Ataturk’s principles and reforms and they will develop scientific studies with their research.

The Department of Statistics got started in 2002-2003 academic year; The Department of Psychology got started in 2003-2004 academic year. It is aimed at opening new departments in the fields of both Science and Literature in Incek.

Our students who graduated from the Faculty work at home and abroad as a result of our mission and vision.
