General Information
Ufuk University started education in 2002-2003 academic year. Anesthesia program was opened to education in 2007-2008 academic year under the Vocational School of Health Services. During their education, students in the Anesthesia Program receive theoretical lessons for their own programs as well as basic medicine courses. He works practically in the operating rooms of surgical clinics. Students who graduate from this program are given an "Anesthesia Technician" Associate Degree diploma and they are employed in private and public hospitals.

Arrangements for the Recognition of Prior Learning
Students admitted to our School can bring transcript of their grades and course content they study domestically or abroad in other Higher Education institutions before ,with the applicant .The credit and grade transfer requests are examined by the school board and they make the decision

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
Students graduate from the program must pass all the courses in the program , and there should be no FF . Students in this program should provide a minimum of 120 ECTS credits and a GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 .A further 30 business days of summer internship of 240 hours must be made .

Profile of the Programme
The graduates of the program are able to work in the Anesthesiology and Reanimation units, in the application of anesthesia and reanimation, in the application of anesthesia and reanimation, in making all the preparations in the patient and the operating room before anesthesia, in the evaluation of all vital functions of the patient in the recovery room, and in the process of ensuring patient safety in the process until their transfer to the intensive care or patient room. They receive training in professional fields suitable for the conditions of the country, such as working in cooperation with the anesthesiologist in the treatment of the patient's pain in the postoperative period. This program provides education at the associate degree level. Students are provided with transferable experiences related to the Anesthesiology Technician profession, such as adherence to professional ethical values related to professional practice and good communication with patients.

Student's success in Health Services Vocational School is determined by an evaluation of the mid-term notes along with the final exam grade. Mid-term notes, consists of the notes depending on the midterm exam and course assignments, practices, practical work .
