Course Objectives |
Analyzing the concept and elements of real right, its types, real right principles; acquisiton of immovables, its restriction; subject of movable good, its acquisition; the concept of possession, acquisition of possession, its loss and protection; the importance of the land registry system for immovable goods; types of ownership, joint and several ownership; personal servitudes, servitudes on goods; establishment of encumbrance real right, its scope and transfer and the concepts of pledge of movables-immovables. |
Course Content |
It is the field of law regulating people’s relationship regarding their direct sovereignty on goods. In addition to real rights that people have on goods, possession and land registry are also involved. |
Learning Outcomes (LO) |
1. Interpreting of the basic concepts of property law and its application
2. Analyzing the distinction of possession and ownershio and its results
3. Knowledge of the purchase-sale procedure and transaction regarding immovables
4. Awareness of land registry transactions
5. Understanding the practically important application of movable and especially immovable pledge
