Course Objectives In this course, the historical process in Turkey and the world of childhood and their characteristics, factors and solutions affecting children's health in the world and Turkey, standards of pediatric nursing, roles, philosophy, population and health policies, the development of child health, family, social and cultural information related to impact features is intended to teach.
Course Content The content of this course;childhood period and its characteristics in the historical process in the world and in Turkey, factors affecting child health in the world and in Turkey, and solution suggestions, standards, roles, philosophy, population and health policies of pediatric nursing, social and cultural characteristics of the family in the development of child health.
Learning Outcomes (LO) Knows the characteristics of childhood, comprehend the factors affecting child health, explains the philosophy and development of pediatric nursing, discusses the care principles and nursing approaches used in the care of pediatric patients and their families, knows the population and health policies, interprets family, social and cultural characteristics that are effective in the development of child health and understand the childhood immunization policies and programs.
