Course Objectives The aim of this course is to learn private law issues in medical law and also to solve theoretical and practical problems comparing various views in this area.
Course Content The justification of medical intervention is analyzed within the medical law. Also, the legal relations between patient, patient relatives, physician and health care provider are characterized. Furthermore, the duties and liability of physicians and health care provider are dealt.
Learning Outcomes (LO) 1- Interpreting the requirements of justification of medical intervention 2- Characterizing and distinguishing legal relationships in medical law 3- Determining the conditions of liability arising from medical practice 4- Analyzing various views in the literature on medical law 5- Expressing her/himself in written language according to the scientific research methodology
