Course Objectives The aim of this course is to provide descriptive and analytical tools to students to understant, analyse and interpret Turkish Foreign Policy and make predictions towards a future.
Course Content This course defines the basic principles and the determinants of Turkish Foreign Policy since the establishment of Turksh Republic. It describes and analyses the basic events and facts which shape Turkish Foreign Policy. The course will be held in a chronological order.
Learning Outcomes (LO) The students who attended the course and were successful at the end of semester will acquire the followings; 1- Learning main domestic and interntional factors determining Turkish Foreign Policy; and understanding basic facts and figures of Turkish Foreign Policy; 2- Developing an academic style and scientific method to understand and analyse Turkish Foreign Policy in the light of knowledge on Turkish Foreign Policy; 3- Constructing perspectives on future developments.
