In training foreign language teachers, the acquisition of spoken English skills comes up as the most difficult skills. In order to advance the long-lasting speaking skills in English, the related theories, methods and techniques are employed to develop correct pronunciation and intonation skills. |
Course Content |
By explaining the elements of Educational phonetics and phonology, applications are made by examples. The stress, juncture, and pitch phonemes of English language are handled, and their applications are made over intonation. Applications and analyses are made via simple, compound, and compound-complex sentences. By expanding the applications, paragraphs and dialogues are used as the platform of analyses via certain computer-based speech programs. |
