Course Objectives |
This course aims to prevent the method errors that will affect the patient's blood values that they will encounter in their professional lives, to enable them to make correct comments about the values, and to have an idea about the functioning of hospital laboratories. |
Course Content |
In the course, blood collection techniques and the stages of the samples taken will be explained. Possible problems and the possibility of reflection of these problems on patient results will be explained, and the correct technical and theoretical approach will be reinforced. |

The students who attended the course and were successful at the end of a semester will acquire the followings:
LO-1. Knowing the content of blood samples
LO-2. To know the details of the tools used in sampling
LO-3. Knowing and evaluating correct sampling, transport, and storage conditions
LO-4. To know before, during, and after analysis of samples reaching the laboratory.
