Course Objectives The aim of this course is to provide students with knowledge about theoretical and practical basic information and limitations in the field of neuropsychological assessment.
Course Content This course includes research from a cognitive/neuropsychology point of view and the use of statistical methods suitable for the purpose of the research. In this course, students are involved in a research process on their own, from the beginning to the end. This course also includes the active use of psychology databases and reporting research results in accordance with APA format.
Learning Outcomes (LO) The students who attended the course and were successful at the end of semester will acquire the followings; 1-Prepares a research proposal by associating the gains in research techniques with an appropriate topic in the field of Cognitive Psychology/Neuropsychology. 2- Internalize scientific ethical values in all processes of a research to be conducted in psychology. 3- Applies statistical analyzes suitable for the purpose of the data entered into statistical package programs. 4- Arranges the results by reporting in scientific language. 5- Collaborates in a team during the research process.
