Course Objectives Introducing the diagnostic criteria, epidemiological and etiological features of psychological/psychiatric disorders seen in adulthood.
Course Content In this course, psychological/psychiatric disorders (dissociative disorders, somatic symptom and related disorders, eating disorders, schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, personality disorders), that are less prevalent than mood and anxiety disorders, are introduced with their diagnostic criteria, epidemiological and etiological features within the scope of DSM-5.
Learning Outcomes (LO) The students who attend the course and are successful at the end of semester will acquire the followings; 1- Identifies psychopathologies, 2- Differentiates psychopathologies from each other, 3- Explains the causes of psychopathologies, 4- Evaluate new cases for possible psychopathologies.
