Course Objectives |
The aim of this course is to provide students with basic English listening, speaking and reading skills as a continuation of ING101 English Language Skills I. |
Course Content |
In this course, students are going to be introduced to the basics of English language in terms of grammar, vocabulary, listening, reading, and speaking. |
Learning Outcomes (LO) |
The students who attend the course and are successful at the end of the term will be able to
1. use English language skills to perform basic and modeled tasks from daily life such as talking about past life, talking about future plans, making reservations, following announcements, making inferences by reading signs and written advertisements,
2. listen to short dialogues in English and follow the main idea and small details (number, name, etc.),
3. read and follow texts modeled from daily life such as e-mails, text messages, blogs, letters, announcements, postings, informational articles. |
