Course Objectives This course mainly aims, to make the trainee informed about the physisological and pathological situations in obstetrics, gynecology, infertility and gynecologic oncology and adequate ways for management for such situations.
Course Content Taking patient history and main steps in obstetrics and gynecological physical examination Antenatal follow-up and management of normal vaginal delivery Antenatal follow-up in high-risk pregnancies and management of complicated delivery Benign gynecological diseases and medical/surgical management Urogynocological problems and ways of managment İnfectious pathologies in Gynecology and management Evaluation of female infertility and treatment strategies Etiologies of female infertility and appropriate management Premalign and malignant diseases in Gynecology and appropriate treatment modalities
Learning Outcomes (LO) LO1- Ability to make antenatal follow up in uncomplicated pregnancies and management of uncomplicated normal vaginal delivery LO2- Being informed about high risk pregnancy follow up and management in complicated deliveries LO3- Being informed about benign gynecological problems and alternative strategies for treatment LO4- Being informed about gynecological malignancies and management LO5- Evaluation of female infertility LO6- Management of female infertility LO7- Evaluation and management of gynecological infections
