Course Objectives |
The aim of this course is to gain understanding of the history, principles, methods and techniques of short-term psychological counseling focused on solutions and the approach to psychological counseling. |
Course Content |
Models of cognitive, affective and behavioral therapy and history of short-term therapy; solution-focused psychological counseling principles and techniques, structuring of solution focused psychological counseling sessions, techniques used, solution- focused psychological counseling with children and adolescents. |

Those who take this course and successfully complete it are expected to make the following gains:
1. To be able to comprehend the basic principles, processes and stages of solution- focused short-term therapy.
2. Knowledge of strategies and techniques of solution- focused short-term therapy.
3. To be able to use the methods and strategies of solution- focused short-term therapy.
